Thanks for playing “Brother”

Thanks for playing “Brother Can You Spare a Dime”

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

Over the last few months while I’ve been between L.A. and San Francisco writing and working on music for my next CD, which I begin recording soon, I’m happy to say that “Brother Can You Spare a Dime” is being played all over the country. Again, thank you NPR for your continued support and encouragement of my career and to the many commercial radio and television stations for broadcasting my music. Thanks to all the listeners around the world for downloading “Brother Can You Spare a Dime” from iTunes, Napster, and CD Baby and thank you for your continuing support of my CD “The House of Jazz“.

It was good to see and check out our good friend Carl Lockett in San Francisco who is such a great guitar player. Carl, you’re sounding better than ever! For those who don’t know Carl’s work you should really check him out.

We’ll be back in SF for the Filmore Jazz Festival July 4th weekend. We also want to wish Gussie’s Southern Style Chicken and Waffles (on 1521 Eddie Street and Filmore) all the success in the world. Michelle, have a great opening! Can’t wait to dig into your great soul food.
