Just got back from Vegas, working on the arrangements with Tom Fowler. So were going to record 12 tunes in four days and we got good start on all the work. Listened Joni Mitchell most of the drive back, man “Hejira” takes on a whole new meaning when you are out in the middle of the desert. I thought to myself man this shit doesn’t happen every day. I wasn’t out there looking for this. I finally made a little 3 song Christmas CD for my family, to stop their bugging me about music. Now I’m making a CD with legendary bass player Tom Fowler, and all the players he’s talking about are all top players. I‘ve got to be f…ing crazy!!

The singer/songwriter Michael Tinholme and Tom Fowler, legendary base player/producer for Mr. Ray Charles, were introduced one late Los Angeles evening around a grand piano where Michael sang and played some standards and a few of his originals. Michael Tinholme and Tom Fowler have been working together and recording non-stop with some of the world’s most accomplished and renowned musicians ever since.
